Report on MASTO PRESSURE GREASER:

I have been using the MASTO HIGH PRESSURE Lubricator now for the past 8

Months, during which 6 of those months being winter. In these extreme conditions

This MASTO LUBRICATOR has proven to be very beneficial in the proper

Protection of our wire rope on cranes, lifeboat falls, workboat falls, and other various

Lifting wires in use onboard. We have done tests on wires with and without the

MASTO Treatment and wires with show the penetration to the core.

At present we are using an Open Gear Grease ( EP 2 ) whith tends to seal and

Harden slightly while also lubricating. This grease seems to be the best so far for

Our conditions.

The only down side of unit we have onboard is the construction of the ORION

Grease pump which is plastic and is in need of replacement after 8 months of

Periodic use, due to worn plastic seals and needles.

All in all the MASTO unit is an excellent system and is very much appreciated

Onboard.
